Yeah, gif files work without any issues. They just need to meet the current forum requirements... dimensions and file size.

Per the forum settings, "Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 20.0 KB (whichever is smaller)."

Tower was having issues getting his to work, due to the dimensions being off. I had to edit his animation in Adobe ImageReady to make it fit within the guidelines.

Verbal Kint, your avitar is pretty cool but it drives me nuts. Every time I see it I have this near uncontrolable urge to suggest to you that if you will concentrate a bit more on your breath control it will help decrease your muzzle swing.

I found the avatar on another message forum I frequent. Figured it had a gun, some mysterious chick behind the trigger, and the animation was kinda cool... so I'd use it here.

My target might look like I'm waving my gun around, but I assure you that I keep my hands steady.

Anything is possible. I had toyed with the idea of a "Gunsmith's Bench" forum back when I was first setting this site up, but I didn't run with it. I could add it if there was enough interest.
