Found this on www.glock-doc.com ! Thought it was pretty neat. Also pasted the wording from it.

G18_shoot.jpg

Two Glock 18's at the same time: Full-auto, with shoulder stocks. The one on the left has a Federal ported barrel in it, so if you were wondering about Federal's quality, now you know.

Those aren't Glock 18s... those are Glock 17s which have been converted to F/A using disconnector interruptors on the rear of the slides.

G18s have a selector switch on the sides of the slide (similar to the safety on a Beretta).

Still very cool though...

There's always gotta be one........

j/k, bro.

If you've never shot a full-auto Glock, it's something you should, at least once in your life. There's little that compares to holding a pistol in your hands and ripping off a long burst of fire. Hmmmm, it's great. I probably should have kept mine, but at least I still get to shoot it whenever I visit On Target.

It's interesting that the gun which has the compensated barrel seems to be experiencing less muzzle-rise... could just be the photo though.

F/A pistols are indeed a hoot.

Didn't mean to come off like a smarty-pants, it was just the first thing I noticed, sorry... I'm surprised that the website didn't make that distinction.

That's ok, we still like ya. Smarty-pants and all.

There's no doubt the compensated barrel is experiencing less muzzle rise. That's the point of compensating a barrel in the first place. For defensive uses, I'm not a big fan of compensated barrels, as I fear the increased flash might lead to temporary night-blindness. For competition guns, or play toys like F/A Glocks, I can definitely see their value.

Agreed.

Also yearning to try a f/a pistol (or two!) one day...
