of the 5 I have been associated with 2 of them have had feeding problems. We suggested they continue to try and "break them in"... but due to 380 being so hard to get some people have simply not had enought rounds to shoot them much.

I love the little gun and the design, however I never could get the mustangs to run right either. This like all "new" guns will have some growing pains. Time will tell.

All these little guns, even ones like the EMP or the PDA are really sensitive to being held with just the right grip or are susceptible to feeding problems.

Maybe it's a myth, maybe it's not, but lots of internet experts and even a few actual experts claim the 1911 platform cannot be shrunk smaller than the commander size without encountering reliability issues.

Jeff Cooper was one of those experts.

The only sub-Commander length 1911 that I haven't seen reliability issues reported on the various forums is the Colt New Agent.

Before I bought mine, I researched probably 60-80 forum pages around the net looking for cries of issues in doubt about the New Agent. I found two posts. And one of them, the guy had been putting the recoil spring back in backwards.

Tales of Kimber Ultras having issues are legendary.

This gun really is not a 1911. Particularly the way the barrel locks up and tilts. And the way the thumb safety works. And the ejector is not the same. I guess it is more of a hybrid.
