I miss my SIGs the most of any guns that I've ever sold or traded off. My P229 and P226-Rail were both .40SW and both very enjoyable to shoot. I got raped on trading the P229 off for a Glock 27 years ago before I woke up and realized that it's better to sell than trade, and better still to just keep them and not let them go in the first place.

A buddy just called me and said he just traded for a Springfield .357. Not sure on the model or anything. He had a S&W SW40E .40 cal. He only got $210 trade in on the S&W! That had to suck.

Anyone know anything about the Springfield .357? Thats all I know about the gun, I dont know if its XD or anything!

Mmmmm... SIG 228...

Until a few weeks ago I didnt know how hard to find a 228 is. From what ive heard they were for the most part only issued to law enforcement. Mine was a Police carry gun, and is even says "Made in W. Germany" on the slide, so its at least pre-1989. At my carry class a few weeks ago the guy teaching the class first asked me where in the world I got it, and then offered to buy it from me on the spot.
