I was out shopping 2 weeks ago. I went to the Mt. Juliet pawn shop among other places. There was a High Standard, mod. camp gun, .22, 9 shot revolver in great shape. The tag had 200. but marked through and 170. over it. We've wanted a .22 to plink at the gun range, but I can't buy in TN. So saturday morning I took flutterby to the shop and the dealer offered it to her for 160. cash out the door. Now she has her first revolver.

What is it they say... This Thread is Worthless Without Pictures! :)

Saw a man sell a High Standard Sentinel at the Gun Show in Knoxville Saturday for $120. I probably should have bought it on the spot for $130. Just wasn't what I was looking for at the moment. It wasn't in near the shape this one is in, but it was worth $130.

If you got the Sentinel Deluxe for the 200. starting bid you'd have to add another 50. for transfer and back ground. If it doesn't sell, you could offer him 150. see if he bites.

The son borrowed the camera and hasn't returned it. I think we won't see it til next year. But will start posting when I can.

Awesome! Tell her I said Congrats!!!

She should sign up and join us in our discussions here. I recently started a "What do you Carry and How?" thread here in the women's section that she might be interested in. It can be very helpful, encouraging, and fun to see how the other ladies are doing it! :poop:

Flutterby got her HCP in the mail yesterday. Grin from ear to ear, HAH, I'm legal now.

Jealous!! I am so ready to get mine. Congrats on the new purchase!

Ok, Help me out her. On a thread, they were showing the belly band video. I've looked at some of the shops, but can't find them. So it looks like an online order.

I don't know of any shops where you can buy one. You'll definitely have to find one online. Check out SportmansGuide.com. I believe they have a 4" and a 6".....the 4" will be much more comfy as long as it's a lightweight gun (not over 17 oz.). If it's heavier than that, you'll have to go with either a 5" or a 6" to support it enough so that it doesn't sag.

eBay is another excellent place to find them. Protech Outdoors makes some nice ones that I've seen for sale on eBay before. I bought a Desantis once thinking it would be really nice, but it was not as comfortable as the cheaper ones. The material was stiffer and just not soft enough for me. You can do a Google search and find many different brands and styles. I've had several and I prefer the cheap ones over the more expensive name brands by far.
