First Post and First AR

Got my new Doublestar STAR-15 today. What a deal! Haven't shot it yet but figured I'd post some pics since when I was researching I couldn't find much on the nitty gritty specs of these things. Don't let the price fool you, its looks great. I'll let you know how it shoots once I get that far.

Details:no chromed barrel and no M4 Feed ramps. For 650 out the door, I'm not complaining. Also a Commercial spec Buffer Tube. (I didn't buy the CTR since I wasn't sure what it was going to come with)

Welcome! You can do your own M4 feedramps with a Dremel. If the barrel extension

isn't ramped you could still do it, just more of a headache. Kind of overrated and may

not even need it. See how it shoots, first. Enjoy:D

Thx guys, I've already spent much more than the gun in my head! I'll be doing the MOE furniture then I'm thinking an Eotech 512. Of course the DD Omega 7.0 looks mighty nice, but holy cow its expensive.
