What is you guy's experience with Kahr handguns.

Just wondering what the experience has been here among you folks with Kahr handguns. I've seen some of them, even shot a couple, and they seem very solid, but do not have a truly "efficient" trigger like my glock. Advantage is in size with a truly small package that is much more solid and reliable than the cheaper models.

Thanks in advance for your help.

My wife used to have a Kahr PM9. It was very concealable and light. It shot very well but the grip was a bit small for my hands. The trigger was horrible compared to the other guns that I own. LONG double action pull that had probably 8 or 9 pounds of pull throughout it's travel. My wife wanted something smaller with a lighter trigger, so she now packs a Kel-Tec P32. For what it's worth, it is an excellent concealable gun that is a bit too big for pocket carry if you can get used to the trigger.

A few years back I had a PM9. I loved that little gun. The trigger travel wasn't the greatest but it was very concealable. I sold it to a friend when I picked up a S&W 3913, but had I not replaced it with the Smith, I'd still have it in my possession.

It may not mater to you, but Kahr Arms is a Unification Church (Moonies) operation. Officially, it is owned by Sun Myung Moon's son Kook Jin "Justin" Moon.

That matters to me.

Now say that in English Mars.

I've got the mk9. I enjoy it but the .380 kel tec is easier to conceal so it's pretty much the exclusive carry piece. If I could only have one I'd say kel tec.

I saw some go through a pistol class without problems AFAIK.

I like them and they seem well made albeit expensive. I was going to purchase one a while back but steered clear when I tried out the trigger pull. After more experience shooting and owning a revolver I'm sure the trigger pull wasn't as "bad" as I thought it was. I say this because I didn't give it a fair shake because it didn't have the trigger pull of a custom 1911, and the design deserves more consideration than that.
