New Springfield 1911 Custom & Taurus 709

A few weeks ago, I picked up my new Springfield 1911 custom. I was finally able to get out to the range with it last Sunday. It shoots like an absolute dream!! Here's some video of the first shots fired with it.

I also got my new Taurus 709 for carry. The trigger and extra recoil took some getting used to but after a bit, it became second nature. It's really accurate, and I was getting some really good groupings with it. I've had no problem with any type of ammo with it either. I have MUCH gun love for it. I think it's a very good carry for the ladies.

I like those Taurus Slims a lot.....I believe my future holds one of those at some point. I definitely agree that it's a good choice for women's carry. Lightweight, small & thin, decent self defense caliber, accurate and dependable.....plus it's very reasonably priced.

I carry an XD 9 Subcompact, and I absolutely love it.
