Cheapest FFL transfer in/around Nashville

I've used Capitol View Pawn Shop before, but they won't accept transfers from non-FFL, even though it's legal to transfer rifles in this way. I didn't realize that each rifle would precipitate another transfer fee, so the price of the transfer has just increased from a presumed $15 to $75 (for three rifles), if I use Guns and Leather as I did previously. Is there anyone else around town that has a less-than-$25 transfer fee?

Honestly...while I dont blame you for wanting to save money I have no problem with someone charging $25.00 per gun to be a dropoff depot because most of us are too cheap to pay our local business their asking price or are skirting taxes(keep in mind we technically are supposed to pay this tax to the state which I always do *wink wink*). We need to keep in mind what a pain in the butt we can be when complaining about the whopping $25 fee.

When I lived in Nashville I used East Side Gun Shop. Bill charged $20 at the time but that was 4 years ago, he was great to do business with.

It's up to $50 now, at the place that shall remain nameless. :):D

Saddle Shop in Triune still charges $20 for a transfer, I believe. I'll find out in a few days when I pick up my M&P 45c.

I just had a transfer done at the Saddle Shop an paid $30. Question is... was it a $20 transfer and $10 Tics or $30 for the transfer?

DaddyO, can you update??

That's $20 (transfer) and $10 (TCIS).:D

Probably what he said.

You're gonna pay the $10 TCIS fee anywhere you go.

Understood. However I had assumed that was already factored in the $20. I did another transfer somewhere else and was quoted $30, which when I had left was still $30 (included the TCIS in the quote).

Not bitching mind you, was just surprised.
