I have various iterations of Leatherman tools. The one I currently carry is a "Blast" (I think)... basically the smallest one they made with scissors. My wife had a small Gerber that I really liked but someone stole from her car and they don't make it anymore. They're pretty handy.

edit... my EDC tool is a "blast".

I have had the JUICE cs4 for years and it is brilliant , great size and ergonomics , blade still is surgical sharp. So I guess that I have had this for sometime now that the decendants will be just as good. Plus 1 for Leatherman.

I have been carrying a letherman core around for the last few months and I have been really satisfied with it. I kinda wish it had scissors, but I don't really find myself missing them. I do however frequently use the screwdrivers and pliers, the rest of the tools are mostly unused. The other criticism that I have of this multi-tool is that the blades are on the inside of the handle so you have to unfold the tool to get at the screwdriver, knife blade etc. I was willing to accept this though because I got a pretty decent deal because of the employee discount.

If you can stand his longwinded videos, NutnFancy made some multi-tool videos I watched to help me decide what to get.
