Whoever said 1911's aren't reliable is wrong. I just put 300 rds through my Kimber Custom TLE II & it functioned flawlessly. Double Taps, F.A.S.T. drills, hammered pairs, mag dumps, upside down, limp noodle wristing, sideways....I could not make this thing stop, then I bump fired it for some full auto fun. I am a new 1911 owner and am completely sold.

Contrats!! They are a great thing. In my experience about 90% of the "reliability" problem with the 1911 is the magazine. The other 10% is "limp wristing".

Have fun!

I have a Rock Island 1911 in 45acp. and ran 300 rds thru it when I baught it new about 4 years ago, since then I have put around 1500rds thru it and it only jammed 1 time, the 1911 is a fine weapon in my oppion.
