I have been and still am a surefire man for a very long time. Well we needed a good rechargeable and since Surefire stopped producing them? I turned to Streamlight and for the last few months have been using this Strion® Series - Strion® LED HP | Streamlight it is an outstanding light and we like it so much to check on our property at night I will be ordering at least 1 if not 2 more. I have to give Kudos to Streamlight as this is my first experience with their products

I'm a big fan of streamlight and Fenix lights. Surefire lights are nice, but I just can't justify spending that much money. I know they are quality lights but when you compare lumens and run time between the Surefire and the other brands I just don't see enough difference to justify the purchase.

I carry a Streamlight Stylus Pro daily. By far the best light $20 can buy.

I must admit I also have a Surefire. Expensive, Yes. Excellent Light, Yes. However, I will never own another one that uses those expensive batteries. As a side note. I had a Browning light that came with a blue, green, and red lense cover. Great light till it decided to quit working. It used those Lil batteries too. If it had lasted long enough for me to replace them, I might not have bought the Surefire I have now.

I use a ITP SA2 Elumina that I picket up for 35 or 40 bucks from a gun show. Its a small 2 X AA powered light with adjustable beam from very low to very bright (can't remember the lumens but its high) and also has a stobe feature thats easy to access. Made of black metal, with a rubber tailcap push button activation swith with a separate feature switch up front. Came with a strap, belt pouch, pocket clip , an extra tail cap swicth and extra bulb, and has the anti roll feature also.I love this light. I bought another one for my son. I've never seen one so bright that uses AA batteries.
