I have a question...I live about 2 hours away from Camden and Im sure some others here are just as far away, what do most people do that attend the 2 day class? Do they just travel back and forth both days or do some stay in a hotel for the night? Just wondering because I am not a morning person, honestly I hate the morning, and if there was a hotel close by I would much rather stay the night.

Rooster:

Tactical Response provides lodging as part of the class. You get to stay in the "team room" in Yeager's basement. Its a very nice setup, with 2 seperate bunk rooms, sofas, tv, PC access. Supposedly dinner is included Sat night courtesy of the Yeagers. This will be my first class, so I dont know from first-hand experience, but I have seen pics and heard positive descriptions on other boards. There are also motels nearby for those who wish privacy.

James, what kind of pistol would you recommend that I take and how many magazines and mag holders?

I have a Springfield XD .40 that is factory ported and I have a Smith&Wesson 1911SC Commander. The XD has a higher capacity and I carry it on duty, but I carry my 1911 off duty (which is most of the time as I'm a reserve deputy). I know that you recommend 1000 rounds, but is there any long strings of fire that I would have to have more than 2 extra magazines for the 1911??

Sweet!!

I should be able to save up the $$$ by then.

I'll run it by the GF. She's gonna need her own pistol by then, too.

Thanks again for a wonderful offer!!

We rent pistols for classes in Camden. If she doesn't have her own yet don't let that stop her from training.

Can we get a total price per person/couple? This is for the wife's sake. I know that will be her first question. Also, what is needed and what will be provided for the class.

Fellas, for those who have not yet taken any training from Tactical Response DO SO!!!

Don't buy another gun, don't buy an ipod, don't buy a set of flowmasters- get some training!!! Your life will never be the same. What these guys teach is that significant!

Plus, it's a hell of a lot of fun!

I'd definitely like to attend - been considering taking a class from Tactical Response for some time now, and this is the perfect opportunity! Count me in. Let me know what information you need from me.

So, anyone wanna go in on a bulk ammo purchase? I wonder what kind of deal we can get if we order 12,000 rounds...

OK, I just talked to Joe Lundberg at Heor Gear about bulk ammo. He has Atlanta Arms Ammo, which is factory reloaded once shot brass. It's pretty good stuff and I use it for target shooting. It comes in 50 round boxes. He said to let him know a couple weeks in advance in order to be able to get it.

Bulk pricing for ammo is:

9mm - $195 per 1000

.357 Sig - $260 per 1000

.40S&W - $245 per 1000

.45acp - $280 per 1000
