Glock 26 IWB?

Recommended Posts

What do you fellas recommend in terms of IWB carry for a G26? My preferred position is somewhere around 5o'clock.

Right now I am thinking something like this:

DeSantis Right Hand - Tan - Cozy Partner 028TAE1Z0 FREE S&H 028TAE1Z0. DeSantis Style 028 Holsters, DeSantis Holsters.

Things I want to have in it for sure: sweat shield, reinforced mouth, preferably snaps (but I am open to others so long as its stable).

Any other ideas? I would prefer keep it under $100.

Does anyone have any experience with this specific holster?

Belt attachments on already widest part of rig are never optimum is my take on that style holster, regardless of maker.

For myself I prefer to stick to a holster with a smaller footprint, especially with a small and lightweight G26, no need for the larger hybrid-style or any of the ones with the clips fore and aft of the holster itself as you gain a lot of footprint size to stay a 1/4" thinner over the gun.

My favorite is the cheapest holster I ever bought, Custom Carry Concepts "Versaclip" (like $20), rules, easy on and off for when you've got to leave it in the car throughout the typical TN day, zero wasted space or added bulk, fast, safe, and just works. Rich can get pretty backed up though as his quality is high and his prices are low so as alternates, in kydex I'd recommend the Blade-Tech "Nano", in leather I'd recommend the Blackhawk "leather inside-the-pants".

I agree - I have one of these for my LCR and love it. The gun 'clicks' into the holster, and needs no additional retention. It conceals well, and is really easy and quick to use.

I prefer holsters with the clips further apart......Summer Comfort (which I had and shipped back) type holsters

place too much weight on one spot for me - causing belt sag even with a CC belt

So I gave these Kholsters a try and prob solved, like the Mtack and Crossbreeds but for a few bucks less
