What are you listening to now?

Squint real hard and you are back in 1977. Gretchen Wilson sounds just like Ann Wilson (nope, not related). And look who makes a guest appearance on guitar....

I’ve never been a Blake Shelton fan, not because I don’t like him, I just don’t keep up with music much. But he knocked it out of the park with this song to me!

Very good. But I have such emotional attachment to several other of his tear-jerkers that I'd put this about #3 of my personal favorites. Houston...#1 and Home...#2.

My picks.

Loves me some Puddles Pity Party!  The original of this is my favorite, but this is a good rendition...

The Beatles channel (18) on SiriusXM is doing a “Magical History Tour” playing every song recorded by them in chronological order.

RIP Dr. John.  This is with The Band who, while excellent, just can’t get the funk like a proper New Orleans band, but is still excellent IMO.

These guys have a great late 70s/early 80s country sound. I suspect there is a bit of artifice in it all, but the sound is excellent.

No video, but I've been up in the shop today building a new reloading bench and jamming to some Rush.

I've not heard April Wine in a long time. Used to have a couple 8 tracks. Remember those!

Was listening to some Bob Segar and Tom petty last night. On a different note, Ginger Baker passed away. I may have to listen to some Cream after while.

Recently went on a camping trip and a buddy only had Tyler Childers on his phone, and played it on a loop. Kinda got in my head. This video is totally trippy, but the song is cool.
