Gents: Lets reread the original post-

I want something more concealable than my Ruger P345. I love that gun, and can shoot it reasonably well, but when the weather for shorts comes, something smaller and lightweight is in order, I think.

Any input on this Model?

I handled one in a gunshop, and it seemd to fit my hand well, though I may spring for the lower profile grip extender.

My point is this; if you want a small & lightweight gun get a J-Frame. If you want something the size of a 27 with a grip-extension then get a 19 or 23.

The 27 with extension is not a lightweight & compact "shorts and T-shirt" gun. The J-frame is.

The 27 with extension is not a highly-shootable "fighting gun", but the 19/23 is.

The subcompact Glocks (no one likes Glocks more than me, btw) just doesn't really do anything that well. He has a full-size gun (Ruger) and wants something "small & lightweight" for use with shorts.

:D
