I searched through the threads that have posted and non posted restaurants and couldn't find any info there. I'll be going there tomorrow night and want to know if I'll be able to carry there or not before I get to the door. Any info appreciated, thanks.

I have never been there, but if its like most comedy clubs I bet they are close to the %51 alcohol revenue threshold. Most clubs require minimum drink orders that(with many ppl buying more). I would say that is close since ticket prices are fairly low.

If you don't see a legal sign, carry.  Don't call and ask.  Most places do not have up legal signs.  Conceal your gun and as long as you don't go through metal detectors, no one will know.  Open carry and you will probably be asked to leave.

Which all has zero to do with whether you can legally carry there.

This has zero to do with being able to carry there.  Tennessee does not acknowledge "bar" as a category.  It's simply a restaurant with a liquor license at that point and is still subject to the same requirement that it be posted as anti-carry if the owners intend for you to be there unarmed.

Sorry, after more research, I was wrong. I was going by what I had been told in my HCP class. Carry on!

Yep - no worries.  We're all here to learn and unfortunately your experience is par for the course in a lot of HCP classes.  There's so much inaccurate information being proliferated by HCP instructors, it's not even funny.  :(

What does the % of alcohol sales have to do with the price of bread?

Again, I was misinformed. In TN it does not matter...other states it does.

It mattered here 4 years ago, for a month or two, till original "bar carry" statute was suspended by court order, and new one passed later.

We went concealed and didn't notice any signs.

By the way James Gregory is funny even though he is recycling years of the same material.
