Well my son got a 1969 Ruger .22 Standard from 1969 from his grandfather. The magazine is really worn and the follower wiggles and makes the gun jam a LOT since the bullets dont alway go in at the proper angel.

SO I need to know where I can get a couple new mags.

Problem is I have looked everywhere. The Ruger MARK magazines are not the right ones not even the MARK I.

The button on the you pull down to pull the spring down to be able to insert the bullet is on the opposite side one the standard compared to all the other Ruger magazines.

Is this going to be a gun show find only ?

Thanks,

J

I have a standard myself. What you have to do is buy the Mark I mags and move the thumb button to the other side. The mags are made so that just by pulling the button out and inserting it in the other side is easy. However be sure to get the Mark I mags. The button is larger on the Mark II & III mags.

Hope this helps.
