ok heres my 2cents. Google is a private firm, They have right to run the Google web site as they see fit. We have the choice of using their service or not on an individual basis.

I really for one would not like to see TGO become a mob ruled site.

I don't have a problem with individuals or groups protesting a company for pushing an agenda that individual or group does not support. IMO Googles actions are inherently detrimental to our Right to Keep and Bear Arms and as such I no longer use them. Their stance against RKBA is also detrimental to the core principles of this site so once again I see no problem with removing links to Google. The links enhance their business and imply an agreement with their practices.

Of course in the end it's really up to Tungsten to determine if he wants to remove them.

Hey! I like Google. After all when you type in the term "firearms classes" our site comes up in the number one position of the organic returns on the first page. The only one above us is FrontSite.com and they have to pay for that slot. Otherwise they don't show up untill deep on page 2. Take that Piazza.

Yup! Same thing happens on MSN and now finally on Yahoo even though we didn't pay Yahoo the $300.00 they require for business listings. Again, the only way Piazza can get on the first page of returns on either MSN or Yahoo is to buy his way on. Of course he has plenty of lifetime memberships to draw from to buy his ads. I did it the old fashioned way. Good planning, a little bit of design time and plain old good SEO.
