Went in to my favorite restaurant today and noticed this...56k (Pei Wei Asian Diner)

I was having lunch with my wife today, and for some reason out of the corner of my eye I noticed this.....

It got me thinking about the fact that the one I normally go to on the other side of town doesn't have this special little decal...because I've looked before. Go figure it would be in green hills of all places, but I'm just curious as to why one location would "ban handguns" and the other doesn't see to care.

by the way... love how official this sign is..HA

The one I go to in west knoxville was not posted, the last time I was there. That's been about 4 months. The new law makes that sign official; watch out!

My guess is if one loaction is posted, but not others, it is the local manager's decision and not a corporate one. Could be worth contacting corporate.

Also as most of us know the "Gun Buster" sign alone is a legal posting, however it is a bit hard to tell from the pic, but it doesn't appear to be on the door (entrance) and appears to be small. So whether it is "clearly visible to someone entering" is another question. However it is a question that a judge could be the one answering. it is just whether you want to be the one asking or not.

The one thing I wish is that my wife would understand....she could care less and would expect me to go back to the car to put my weapon away... Where I would go elsewhere and not be oppressed by liberal insecurities. Nonetheless, the rules are the rules for a reason.......

...... So that law abiding citizens have to go through a big hassle to be protected...while criminals live care free lives. LOL.

Thanks for the help figuring this one out... I'm gonna give PF Changs a call tomorrow and give them my 2 cents about their sign... you know, the one that keeps law abiding citizens out. lol. This may be an interesting conversation... I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Man, I would just not eat there. I ate at Pei Wei in Green Hills one time and it was not very good for Asian food. I would just go support one of the local Asian restaurants and get food that is actually cooked by Asians and be able to carry at the same time. If you're in Green Hills, I would recommend Chinatown (best service ever) or Ginza (Japanese food, pretty good).

If criminals were smart, (which most are not, Thank God) they could sit out in their car at these "gun buster" locations and wait for the law abiding citizen to return to their car after a few moments in the store and then break into your car to get your handgun.
