Poppa’s new coyote gun

Recommended Posts

I got this gun together. It has a 16†chromed barrel a 5.56 chamber. The barrel is worth every bit of $89. I slapped a scope on it just for the hell of it and got a surprise. It shot between .350 and .500 3 shot 100 yard groups. I slapped the suppressor on it and shot three ½ groups in a row. lol, It has a mil spec trigger and a crappy rifleman scope. Sometime the gun Gods throw you a bone. Now I need to find some coyotes.

I do my initial load development off my back porch. I have a berm at 100 yards. Once I get something shooting good I shoot on a buddy’s farm. It’s setup for shots out to 1000 yards. (Steel or paper) They just got 22-250 I had spare parts. They have about 200 yards on me but I figure most shots will be well within 300 yard and my semi will be to my advantage if two or more dogs show up.

You done that dog a favor, from what I've heard mange can spread like wild fire amongst yotes and can wipe out a pack, not that I have any solid proof of this bit of info but have always heard that thru the years.

OH YEAH...love the gun, been debate'n on build'n me a AR for a while now, hope it turns out as sharp as yours.
