while at the range today i decided to put my new sr9c and xdm to the test for accuracy. the first target is the xdm at 45 feet the one below is the sr9c at 45 feet. in all fairness the xdm has a trigger kit and internals polished and a tungsten dons guide rod with truglow tfo sights while the sr9c is stock out of the box and no adjustment of the sights.

the sr9c done pretty well considering this is only the 2nd time i shot it. plus my loads are developed for the xdm. i am very happy with the sr9c. now i just need to get it sighted in some trigger work and work up a good load for it and test them once more. the trigger is good out of the box on the sr9c but can be much better. my xdm is my favorite handgun and never fails me so i am partial to it and its been pretty accurate for me to.

Nice...not apples to apples, but still nice. Good shooting on the xdm. I have just aquired an xd9 sc and also have the sr9c. Both factory. I need to submit a range report on them both out of box. Never fired either. Weekend project maybe?

I have heard that the sr9c was a fairly accurate shooter. Actually I almost bought one but got a Baretta Px4 Storm SC instead. The SA XDm's are excellent firearms. I feel badly about listing my 9mm in the classifieds here for sale. Have other gun interest.

i like the sr9c a lot. this was just my 2nd time to shoot it next time out i will adjust the sights and after get used to it i think the groups will be much better. plus its a sub compact. my xdm is still my favorite. but i am am going to start carrying the ruger when i get it dialed in. i did have some light primer strikes even after removing the striker and cleaning the the striker channel. i called ruger today and they are sending me a new striker assembly. great customer service.
