D-cells have greater stopping power than C-cells.

Anyone who says otherwise is an ugly stupidhead...and a communist.

Friggin battery snobs. More light has been shined from those little AAA batteries than from any other size. It's all about beem placement. If you can't put the beem where it needs to go then maybe you need to practice more. Nothing stopping you from dry switching at home.

Plus, which are you more likely to carry every day? Some monster running D cells, or a little AAA light? Hell, even those exotic little CR2 (or other varieties of lithium batteries) can be a great call. Sure they're more expensive and a bit harder to find in stores, but they pack a pretty good punch. The important thing is just to make sure you always have your light with you. You can't plan for when you might find yourself in a dark place.

Just wait, you'll soon hear "It doesn't have any external, manual safeties. It isn't safe. You might shine your arse off with it." As for me, screw safeties. I'm gonna Mexican carry it. Who knows, I may even get a tan.
