What is it, about reloading, that makes you forget about everything else?

No worries, no problems, no bitching, no problems at all....

To me, it's very therapeutic....:):):)

Possibly the fact that if you don't pay attention and block everything else out, you could blow your hand off at the range. :P

THIS

Plus, the wife stays away while I'm reloading. This means I get to enjoy the man cave in peace and quiet.

The above quote is completely attributed to BigK(without permission of course)...only i fixed it for my own use....also fixed a typo...:)

That's kinda the way I see it, too. And it can be addictive. :P

It used to be because it was relaxing and I shot a lot. Now with 3 grandkids shooting SASS and everything else they can get their hands on reloading is a must do. But now I have them doing all of the reloading for everything they shoot. It teaches them that some things have to be done carefully and precisely. It's also cool when the Sharps 45-70 buffalo gun hits that steel buffalo at 200 yards that they can explain powder & bullet weight, drop and hold when somebody asks them.

With no one's habit to feed but my own and having spent CONSIDERABLE time getting ahead of my own game, Reloading is just as it's been said, relaxing. Unless you're stupid, you have to pay attention to what you're doing and you tend to not think about anything but the task at hand unlike some of life's more mundane chores.

Plain and simple, it's "Me Time" and it let's my noggin' simmer for minute.
