Way back on page 2, someone asked about this in an M&P 22. Has anyone tried it in a regular M&P 15? I'm interested, but don't want to do any drilling on the factory parts.

There isn't any drilling, It is just taking a tap and finish tapping the grip screw hole. 1/4-28 taps can be bought off of Ebay for under $5 shipped.

So the grip screw hole is only threaded part of the way through and it needs to be done all the way through?

I have only found a few kinds of lowers that were partially threaded. Basically if the lower is Milspec it will be threaded all the way through. The polymer 22 lowers are not milspec so they are not worried about threading all the way through. But if a lower is milspec it should be threaded all the way through. I do know that DPMS grip screw holes are not threaded all the way through. That is because they are NOT milspec and have never been.

I was told by ONE customer that his polymer S&W .22 wasn't tapped all the way through. I do not know if that is also true for S&W's aluminum lowers but I have not had anyone complain the kit wouldn't work. All you have to do is remove your grip screw and look. If you see threads at the bottom of the grip screw holes then you do not need to tap the holes.

If all else fails I will refund your money. You will be out nothing. We don't care the reason, if you want a refund you will get a refund no questions asked.

Up for sale here is my Ruger American Ranch in 350 Legend. The rifle is like new, in excellent shape and has been fired 35 times. Included is 30 rounds of Deer Season XP 150gr ammo, as well as 15 rounds of white box 145gr FMJ ammo. On top of the rifle is a Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x40mm scope, I will sell it with or without the scope. Asking $400 without the scope, or $525 with it. Only reason for selling is to consolidate some rifles that I rarely use.
