Anybody had CCR do any work for them lately?

I am debating sending an HK P2000 in for CPII to the slide and barrel, and getting the slide locks re-blacked. I have been dying to get this done to something for awhile. But the problem is I don't really have anything with holster wear besides my P2000, which is my EDC.

There are some days that I look at it and think I will go ahead and drop it off there. Then the next day I will look at the holster wear and think it looks as it should and should leave it alone. Apparently I have to much time on my hand.

Anybody had them do work lately? How long was the turn around time? I will not be shipping. I would drop it off and pick it up.

Any thoughts? Or pictures?:D

Too much time or money. I'd leave it. Adds character. Unless your going to hang it over the fireplace.

That's what I think to occasionally. But the CPII just looks so good.

I dare say you would not find anyone better. Im not sure the wait time now But I have used them many time in the past.

Just stop by and ask them. No matter the wait time it is well worth it. Brad puts many many extra hours into prep time.

Oh and tell them Jeff sent you.

Tell Brad and Mary I say Hi.

I dropped off a 1911 about a year ago and they only had it about a week.

I called Mary a few times until they were sure they could get to it quickly then dropped it off.

This particular gun looks a lot better, it had gone beyond wear to ugly. :)

They do a good job.

I dropped off a 1911 there the first week of November for refinishing and a new front sight installation. I'm hoping it will be ready by the last week in December because I will be in the Greeneville area again and don't want to pay shipping costs. I sent them an e-mail on Friday after business hours checking on the status. Hopefully I will hear something soon, but from what I've read on other forms e-mail is not supposed to be very responsive. Everything I have heard is their final product is top-notch.

I had them do 2 HK USP's for me in August. They had them done in less than 2 weeks. In the past I have had to wait 2 to 3 months. Their wait time just depends on how much work they have at the moment. Their website says that you can call them and make a reservation now. That might be a good idea. They do great work. It is definitely worth the wait.

I picked up my gun about ten days after my original posting. They had it for roughly eight weeks total. The gun came out great and they were really good to work with. I would definitely recommend them.

I hear that they do good work and I wanted to send them my wife's Glock slide to them to have it duracoated pink, but they will not return my calls.

I have better luck getting in touch with them by email. Give them a couple of days to reply. Brad and Mary are the only two people that work there and they are usually in the shop all day.
