Operation #EFAD

Recommended Posts

Here's a piece posted by gun blogger David Codrea on Operation #EFAD. You might have heard of Matt Bracken, an ex-Navy Seal who wrote the Enemies Foreign and Domestic trilogy.

Starting yesterday, he is giving away for free the first ebook in the series. They're trying to get it to #1 on the Amazon Kindle downloads to send a message, spread it through social media, and hopefully get some traction.

Here is Matt Bracken's web page on what he's trying to do through this.

Here is the free download of the book from Amazon. Even if you don't plan on reading it, please download it to help get it to #1.

Done, laptop & desktop - free download ends tonight, so get on with it!

Wow, thanks for the clue. Didn't know there was a free PC app for Kindle stuff.

Before I finished EFAD, I bought the other two books in the trilogy. I have now finished all 3 of them. Bracken paints a picture that is terrifying in not just its plausibility, but in what I believe is its accuracy in portraying what is likely the future of this country. I have long lost hope that our republic can be saved without bloodshed.

On a related note, I just finished John Ross' "Unintended Consequences". WOW! If you have not read it, you really should try and find a copy to buy/borrow (as it out of print) for it is the best book I have read of this genre, and in fact, one of the better books I have read of any genre.
