The anticipation is KILLING me.

Recommended Posts

I've sent a pistol back to Taurus to take advantage of their lifetime warranty and the wait is killing me. This is the first time I've ever done this. I talked to the Taurus CS rep before sending the gun and I've received a call and a letter confirming they received the gun. Since then, nothing and its been two weeks.

Has anyone else used the Taurus repair warranty and how long did it take to get your heater back?

Never personally, but reading forums for years, have seen every kind of saga from amazing and wonderful 1 week turnarounds to 1 year multiple send back horror stories.

Seems over last couple years, mostly favorable comments since they opened the service center or whatever here in US?

Taurus had my M85 for almost 6 months but that was several years ago. When I got it back they said there was nothing wrong with it. 12 rounds later it jammed again. After a gunsmith was able to open the cylinder, I cleaned it up and traded it. I understand that Taurus just bought out Heritage Arms.
