What NOT to do in the zombie apocalypse...

Ok, so these are a few things that I think would be important for the zombie apocalypse. Are these the cardinal rules? BY NO MEANS! I'd really really love to get other peoples suggestions and get peoples input on my own rules! So anyways, let's get to it.

1-Stock up before the apocalypse, FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!

I say this because many people has set the first place they go as the local pawn shop or gun shop.

The obvious (To me at least) flaw with this plan is that EVERYONE ELSE WILL BE HEADED THERE!

Also, do you think that the owners of gun shops aren't secretly wishing for the zombie apocalypse?

I mean, come on :)

2-If you are going to travel in a large group, have people that are useless.

Now, this one may kind of stump people. When I say useless, do I mean more of a burden than an asset?

Well, yes, to a degree. In a zombie apocalypse, what need do we have for a lawyer, or a server processer?

You need people who have less to offer than you do, so that if the situation arises to have to sacrifice someone, the decision is easy.

"Oh Hilly, isn't that cruel?" Yes. Very. But if I'm having to survive, I'll be one cruel mofo!

I have a lot more, but I'm gonna stop there because I wanna see other people's ideas :)

Seek out alternative sources for food. Sure... if SHTF, people are going to flock to the stores, but unless you want to be mobbed there you need to think of other places. Schools, for example, store food for lots of people. It may not be the best stuff, but it's food. There will also be first aid supplies!

Fuel Supply? You better know how to, and where to, siphon gas. Don't expect the gas stations to have any. Check out fleet management locations, used car lots, and even old lawn mowers.

I have more... but do I really want to divulge all my secrets? lol

I will have to go with poop. You are most vulnerable whilst pooping. So you better hold it till you get some back up.

Hehe.

My grandfather has mentioned a couple of times how he always had his 1911 handy while pooping during ww2.

My grandfather operated a landing barge in WWII and always told us a story about almost getting hit with a mortar while sitting on a bucket dropping a deuce.
