Is this an illegal SBR?

I have been looking for a cheap Mare's Leg to make a modern version of the Volcanic pistol. I think it would make it much easier to use and definitely easier to shoot.

Dolomite

I was thinking about the same thing this morning. The Volcanic and the Mare's Leg. I don't know the history of the Mare's Leg, but I know the concept isn't new. I remember an old western movie that had one in it. Can't think of the name right now. I don't know if they actually existed in the "Old West" or not, though.

While the 6-shot Rossi is more awkward than a 6-shot revolver, I like the idea of a 10 inch barrel handgun for the extra velocity. Not that I'll buy one anytime soon.

If the Rossi version holds 6 rounds of .44 Mag, I wonder how many rounds of .44 Special or .44 Russian it will hold.
