"Authentication Required" Popup

I've gotten this popup three or four times in the past day, only on TGO, and once on a seperate computer. Firefox 16.0.1 Just an FYI I guess, IDK.

This was being caused by one of the pictures that someone posted. Removed now.

I'm getting this popup on nearly every thread on this site. I don't know if this is related to the other popup, but it only showed up a couple of days ago.

I'm using a Macbook running OSX ver. 10.6.8 and the browser is Safari.

Very strange, I looked at a couple of threads and source doesn't show any mention of static.ak.facebook.com

If you go there, there's a black page with a 16x16.png icon in middle, can't even tell what it is. And can't view page source of that page. Odd, beyond me.

edit: oh, here, it's a known weirdness, didn't take time to read up on it:

I am getting a security certificate error block msg pop-up on most every thread.

Not too annoying, but noisy.

I reset Safari and restarted and no longer see it this morning.

It was all the fault of the little button down at the bottom of the screen to "like" things on facebook.

Good find, thanks for sharing! I rarely if ever use Safari on my Macs, choosing Chrome or Firefox instead. As a result of that I'd have never noticed it.
