Mossber is releasing a "new" bolt gun. It is chambered in 223 and 300. It takes AR magazines, has a threaded barrel and has QD stock setup. You can swap in an AR style pistol grip and stock or a conventional style stock.

 

It is called the Mossberg Flex.

Expected to be under $500. And for the money you can't find a gun with any more features than this. And for even twice the money you would be hard to find a gun that does what this does. It is on my very, very short list of must haves. Just waiting for it to hit the market.

At the outdoor junction today I got to check out the MPV predator (shorter barrel, sporter stock).  Seriously nice rifle for 500 bucks.  Checking it out side by side with the Ruger Gunsite, I couldn't see the 500 dollar price difference other than the fact the Ruger is .308 W
