they use to have the PDX bigger boxes for 12-13 something .. none now... haven't seen boxes of 12ga for sale like i have 22lr... and that same guy has a case of the 550 round 22lr federal for 300 something...100% mark up of course... either they work for someone that sells it or he was at the right place at the right time... probably the first cause most every where has box limit right now

well for one it's people like this that are making an ammo shortage... buying and reselling at 100% mark up...

I would agree but the folks hording large amounts are the main cause. They are the ones buying this stuff even at these prices. As long as people will buy at those prices then we are all going to have to pay it if we want ammo. Right now just not shooting as much. I am guilty of stashing a lot of rounds my self in the past and have sold some at higher prices we have now to buy some that I had less of at the same higher prices. Nothing you can really do if you want to shoot. Which is not a good option. I reload too but now you can't even get components to do that . Been trying to get some 9mm bullets for weeks. And have had a new Dillion 550 press ordered for 3 weeks may be 3 more or longer before it ships.

Most people aren't buying at the high prices and that contributes to the overall shortage. Gougers buy everything thay can get their hands on and then folks respond to regular prices at normal retailers like its Black Friday. At this weekends Shriners gun show in Chattanooga I saw 525 bulk .22LR start at $75, then $70, then $65, then $60 by the time I left and it still wasn't selling. The problem with .22LR is that it is so inexpensive at the regular price of $30 that many are willing to risk a $30 -$90 investment in hopes of turning it into a $30-$90 profit.

Yeh, at the show yesterday, a guy comes up and wants a buck or so a round for some American Eagle ammo at David's tables.

My son and David were betting on the price before he got close to them. Couple of folks were just run off before they had the

chance to "offer" their wares. One guy on Saturday wanted some outrageous price for some Israeli 62 grain on Saturday. He

didn't do too well, either. Got run off.

There were actually some deals at this show. Not many, but it may be getting better.

Just so some of you know, the federal government's continued orders for millions of rounds ain't helping the ammo thing. They

are still at it. I heard on the radio this morning of another twenty or so millions of .40 S&W contract for bid. Government hollow

points aren't just for practice. Maybe I'm wrong, though.
