Led By Pelosi Dems To Bring Victims Of Gun Violence To State Of The Union Address

Recommended Posts

Perhaps the NRA should co-sponser folks that saved their lives and there loved ones, as told in the "Armed Citizen" column in the NRA magazines.

The NRA could work with the Pro 2nd Amendment senators and congressmen to invite them as guests to the State of the Union address.

The State of the Union Address is nothing but a campaign speech for Obama.  By law it is supposed to be a summary of the status of the country.  good luck getting any actual useful information from it these days.  Unless, of course, you want to know what crap Obama is going to pull next.

And as it's nothing but a pep rally for O, I doubt getting many, if any, known Pro-Gun people besides the politicos in side.

The democrats know they can't win the gun control issue on facts so they must fight their battle with emotions. It's just the same old liberal "VICTIM" mentality. Nothing new here just a different approach.

You could load the place up with pro gun supporters and everyday citizens that saved others, but they'd never get a mention or a camera pointed n their direction.

I've watched the State of the Union address nearly every year for as long as I can remember. I don't think I can stomach it this year. Probably going to sit it out and get caught up on "Justified".

It's also about time he slapped down the Supreme Court like he did a few years ago.

Well, I took the time to write another letter to my congressmen and senators.

In the longrun, this is a numbers game, the sqeaky wheel gets the grease...

Dear Senator,

It has come to my attention that the Democrats are planning to invite people that were the victims of gun violence to attend the State of the Union Address as their guests. In my opinion, this is a flaunting of victims to further a political agenda, and is just wrong. Let's guide our country's future by solid facts and not by playing on peoples raw emotions.

I would encourage you and other Pro 2nd Amendment congressmen and representatives to counter this by inviting some good folks that have saved their lives and the lives of their families by having access to a weapon, to attend the State of the Union Address as your guests.

The NRA has a wounderful column entitled, "The Armed Citizen" in their publications. These are real stories of how good
American citizens have saved their lives from harm due to the fact that they were armed and knowledgable.
It would be a good resource to use in selecting people to represent the positive side of this issue facing our country.

Thank you for taking time from your schedule to read my letter, and for all the hard work you do protecting my rights.

Why? Even Roberts was his lapdog on ObamaCare.

I'd say that first slap down was a precursor to the slap down they got right before the ruling on it, wouldn't you? He was pulling

an FDR stunt on SCOTUS.

And you're being kind. :D

Well, if I posted an unkind (but wholly accurate) description it would just mostly show up as asterisks. What didn't get changed to an asterisk would get me in trouble with the moderation team for its inability to viewable on a family friendly site.
