Watching James Bond - Skyfall

I have to disagree with you.  Of the 3 Daniel Craig Bond movies I'd rank Skyfall as the best, with Casino Royale right behind it and Quantum of Solace trailing waaaaay behind.  But that's entertainment for you - everyone has different tastes.

Sorry, but I liked skyfall too. Mostly for it's nod to the past.

The visuals and cinematography were Incredible in the office building and casino scenes. Makes me want to buy a better tv just to enjoy the bluray better!

I do agree with both of these, just didn't care for the movie overall.

Personally I give the movie 4 out of 10 stars.  It wasn't that great.

I liked it better than you. 6 out of 10.

The new "Q" was refreshing, check him out in "Perfume" and another one with Craig, "Layer Cake".  ;)

Yeah, I could and probably should go for 6 out of 10, but no higher than that.  4 was a bit harsh.  There were two, possibly three worse Bond movies over the past 50 years.

The part with the bio scanner on the Walther was the line for me. Not because of the bio scanner, but the three LEDs on the rear of the weapon that:

A. Violates every principle regarding light discipline, especially for an agent expected to surreptitiously approach bad guys, and

B. The fact that having bright ass LEDs on the back of your pistol would blind the crap out of you if you were trying to shoot at someone in low light, not to mention trying to even see your sights.

Yeah, that as the line, but there were about a dozen other things in the movie which made me believe they had it right several decades ago... except for Moonraker.... that was a pile of garbage.

They kill off boobs halfway through the movie... WTH? Bond movies require a Bond girl, and this one didn't even arrive until well into the movie, and then was killed off only minutes later with only a lame, distorted shower scene. Hollywood is forgetting who watches these movies. I want action, witty humor and bewbs.

Agreed.  That was a big downer for me as well.
