Wash state bill would authorize police "inspection" in your home

Recommended Posts

One of my favorite lines

"He said he came to realize that an assault-weapons ban has little chance of passing this year anyway. So he put in this bill more as “a general statement, as a guiding light of where we need to go.” Without sweating all the details."

He didn't want to "sweat the details" so they just threw in home inspections?  Total B.S.  It is become evident that 99% of the people sponsoring, signing and voting for anti-gun bills have no idea what they say because they don't read them.  It is pretty sad when a professed NRA hating Liberal has to be the one to speak up against this sort of thing.

It has been known for years many of them solely go on what is discussed and never actually read the bills.   Something might sound good to them in session discussions but those talks like out the dirty bits.

That is why they write such complex laws, 10, 20, 30, 100, 1000 pages or greater.  To slip in things that they know people will not read.

Liberals are united in their cause, which they have no idea what it is. They do what their masters tell them. Just think if free thinking people

could actually do that. Problem is we have no masters, except the Constitution and need no master, otherwise.

If you think that is weird that "they didn't know what was in the bill", try remembering Obamacare. Did you not hear the same thing? Pay attention,

next time. It may be your last chance.

I thought that some day, in the far distant future, things like this would be happening. What's been going on this past month with these proposed laws have me looking at things very differently. I no longer believe that liberal Democrats are simply misguided folks with differing ideology; to me they are fascists that will not be satisfied until I bend to their ideology, and they will legislate me out of my rights until I am under their thumb. I hope these states pass these laws in their full, unconstitutional form. I think the backlash would give them a lesson about how many Americans reject their ideology.

TMF, I hope you are correct.  Sadly, I think that most people would just ignore it, like everything else.  They are too busy, watching reality TV to pay attention to what their Government bodies are doing to their rights.  Or they don't give a damn as long as that monthly check comes in.

“In a way, the world-view of the party imposed itself most successfully on people incapable of understanding it. They could be made to accept the most flagrant violation, because they never fully grasped the enormity of what was demanded of them, and were not sufficiently interested in public events to notice what was happening. By lack of understanding they remained sane. They simply swallowed everything and what they swallowed did them no harm because it left no residue behind, just as a grain of corn will pass undigested through the body of a bird.” ― George Orwell, Animal Farm

Right now that pendulum is swinging hard to the left, but when these fascists keep pushing too hard, too fast, it's gonna swing back real hard.

If this passes, I could see this being quickly challenged in the Supreme Court. I believe this was one of the reasons we fought a successful revolution.

And, if you wait until the high court has changed hands, then what? It's called tyranny. Where do you go then?

I expect so, if we still have a reasonable voting system left. Then it would have to be changed back the old fashioned way.

I'm not one to get involved in politics, but people such as Senator Adam Kline are complete idiots and should be removed from office immediately.

“I made a mistake,” Kline said. “I frankly should have vetted this more closely.”

WTF you mean you didn't fully understand a bill you're the sponsor for? I don't care if it was a bill that would feed every child in the state.  You better know every I and T of that bill.

Got me so fired up I sent an email to him.

I'm done.

Here's how I see it....

The term "This ain't your daddies democratic party" is really ringing true now days. The true Liberal Democratic Party is moving extremely left of center.  Of course we all should know that on the far right we have Anarchy, and to the far left we have, well, communism for lack of a better word.  Extreme Right equals no laws or regulation, Extreme Left equals way to much law and regulation. The middle doesn't exist anymore. Both of the parties have really slid to the left a few notches due to the Right's laziness, which skews the center mark from what it used to be. However, this makes the left want to move even further left towards MORE laws and regulation. Can you spell Socialism boys and girls?  LOL....The Tea Party has tried pulling the Republican party back to the right, or even to the OLD center, but the old timers just want to sit out their time and retire without all the stress of battling the left. Most of them are lazy azzes.

The Left is fired up, resilient, has the patience of Job, and has a vision of what they want society to be.  It ain't what most of US have in mind though. Sadly, I don't think the Republicans have the fortitude for the battle, unless something changes.  Ted Cruz is a breath of fresh air. You can tell because he makes the old times nervous. He's new, but he hit the ground running.  A few more like him and they'll have to get off their duffs and actually DO SOMETHING..!!!  Anyway, that's how I seez things at present.

Looks like they aren't satisfied with their Socialist Agendas so now they want a full blown Communist, Dictator, Authoritarian Agenda. I guess they also don't care they are ignoring the U.S. Constitution.

The liberals have been using the constitution as toliet paper for years. It is an old outdated document that they believe has no relevance in today's world anymore. It doesn't fit their world view so they crap all over it and those that believe in it. Voting doesn't seem th help beacuse so many people have become dependant on hand outs from the govrnment and they vote to keep getting their goodies. Also too may people rely on the media to get their information. So I am afraid the republic is in it's death throes. I a not sure what comes next, except it will not be freedom like we know.
