sweet indeed! look forward to seeing the finished product

I'm still 3-4 months out on having the barrel in my hand and another 5-6 months for the stock. I already have the Jewell trigger so if I'm lucky I may have this project finished by Christmas. That gives me time to buy up brass and bullets and a new NF scope to sit on top of it.

Nice! What's your plan for recoil mitigation, or are you just gonna man up? :). I know it's gonna be a heavy gun, but still.

I don't know of any man that can man up and sit behind a 50 BMG without some sort of recoil suppression. I'm actually going to put a clam shell style brake on it it works well on my other 50 so I'll stay with what I know works.
