I was doing my daily search on Guns America today and noticed that some of the vendors have prices on guns that are closer to what I was seeing last November. Could this be the start of "back to normal" ? Edited by joesig

I don't suspect the handgun prices to come down much, and I fear they will sky rocket higher than before here soon.  Remember two things are driving gun prices, the threat of assault weapons ban and the large capacity clip thingy.  With the threat of assault weapons ban greatly deminished, there is still a strong chance of a high capacity mag ban, thus handguns with high capacity mags will stay threatened for some time.

Why are handgun prices up to begin with? Ive seen gen 3 glocks for over 700$.

My guess is this, the Gen 4s come with three STANDARD capacity mags so people probably made a rush on thoes. Then of course with Gen 3s still easy to find, thoes were next. Then of course you have the fanboys who just dont like the Gen 4s.

Because most of them have those "evil high capacity" magazines.
