Dickson Gunshow 4/13-14/13

Recommended Posts

I've been to a couple of the shows at Dickson. Usually a pretty big crowd but not many vendors. A lot of junk for sale but not many guns in the past. Tables full of flea market crap for the most part. I live about 15 minutes from the fairgrounds and don't plan on going. I'd rather drive an hour to either guns & leather location and look around. Better deals and don't have to pay for admission.. Just my two cents.

I talked to  promoter and he said still on and about 150 tables. After reading porkchop's response, I don't think I want to drive an hour one-way to check it out.

I have some 308 ammo, I wanted to sale, but probably not worth the drive.

I went last year, the flea market stereotype fits well,it reminded me of an old forum quote:

"Bloomberg is crazy,i went to that gunshow, lots of bonehandled knives, nazi junk, rusty shotgun barrells with the smell of BO and asscrack looming between the tables. What loophole ?..."

I went. Lots of post-Sandy Hook pricing. I saw 500 bulk .22LR on sale for $70, plastic bag of 50 9mm reloads for $25.  Lots of deer antler knives, really, really old long guns, tables and tables of off brand pocket knives. On the up side, my wife bought some jewelry,
