GIF File

Recommended Posts

Probably because GIFs are evil, especially if they are black and have pistol grips or large "clips". :taunt:

Seriously, I don't know why. Seems to work OK when a gif is posted in the body of a message. Probably has something to do with parameters in the IPBoard software, or if you resized the GIF, or if the IPBoard forced a resize when you uploaded it. Animated GIFs and resizing do not play well together.

I'm sure David will be able to answer this.

Sorry man. Animated GIF avatars are the second-most annoying things on the Web.  The first being web pages that immediately start playing music when they load.

^^ I might put the ones that autoload videos ads off on the side really loud 1st. I've been on some auto forums where every other avatar is a flashing gif & half the signatures are bright red 48pt font flashing gif. It becomes so distracting to reading threads. I know there are some funny ones but it would probably just spiral out of control & look so cluttered.

I bet I can do that without even the music playing. Read on:

It's a world of laughter, a world of tears
It's a world of hopes and a world of fears
There's so much that we share that it's time we're aware

It's a small world after all

It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small, small world
