The Progressive Movement is a PR Front for Rich Democrats

Recommended Posts

Like Arakhne lurking within a dark cave system sensing the disturbances upon the silk threads spread throughout..... Progressive author & activist John Stauber was an absolute dahhling of the progressive/liberal left for his blistering derision of the Republicans & Bush during the Iraq war. Shall he retain his crown of adoration or will he now having fulfilled their needs quietly be consumed as a male latrodectus in the frenzy of sexual cannibalism under the avalanche of the well heeled leftwing astroturfed blogosphere as any who cast aspersions upon The Movement are wont to have happen to them?

"For almost a decade now the funders of the Progressive Movement, the rich Democrats of the Democracy Alliance and their cliques, networks and organizations, have employed and funded political hacks, fundraisers, pollsters, organizers and PR flacks.  Over the past ten years they have dumped more and more money into the big feeding trough shared by the major players of the Progressive movement.  The overall goal and result has always been to bring withering rhetorical fire and PR attacks upon the Republican Right, while creating a tremendous fear of the Right to increase the vote for Democrats.  This has become Job #1 for the Progressive Movement.  No one quite remembers Job #2."

May I suggest finding a better source?

Good for you to question lobbying though. Remember: All the lobbyists have agendas.  Usually ones counter to the American People.

a better source? as in some right leaning partisan conservative think tank protege?

my point of the post is that this comes from WITHIN their ranks. it's a divisive plurality growing within the left wing about the growing influence of special interests, oligarchial financiers that sends their liberal hearts just a flutter. he points out that their entire paradigm of conviction has been manipulated and they've been played as marionettes by the plutocrats they profess to despise.

try overlooking his aspersions about the republicans, bush, koch brothers, tea partiers, heritage foundation, etc.. etc..

I began by saying he was a progressive activist & author, it should be self evident he would bandy about these common assaults upon the right so go in with that expectation and try to see what the broader point about the progressive maestros.

this view is representative of many of the same individuals who blindly fell sway to the propaganda of the mainstream media and pulled the lever for Obama and dems down the line in '08. then with the introduction of the stimulus they became concerned, as the appearance of special interest crony kickbacks laced & laden throughout the pork laden stimulus spending became evident this segment of the voter base became Alarmed. as the proliferation of conflict in the middle east continued and the authoritarian state grew larger and more forcefully attempted to eradicate people's individual liberties the last vestiges of their illusory hope became eviscerated completely. some few have come around to a more conservative viewpoint but many instead have scurried away to the pigeonholes of apathy and discontent. they've unplugged altogether or have just passing interests in organizations deriding any entrenched establishment regulation and have instead quietly with little ardor endorse the likes of gary johnsons, jill steins, virgil goode, & *sigh* roseanne barr, simply seeking an alternative to those in power.

this accounts for, in my opinion, many of the voters that failed to vote for O on round 2, nor were they willing to go with Romney who they viewed as a plutocrat. every president since reagan has been a graduate of yale or harvard and it's taken it's toll on people's confidence in the entire 'system' and the perceived ethics, honesty & integrity of those seeking office. we need some breakout action in '16 that's powerful, direct and principle based not just espoused.

The left side has it's splits, also. It is a good example of who the liberals who control the party have to not be

in order to get elected, and then become a communist/progressive in the end.

Their problems are almost as bad as ours. The one thing they do is get in step when it comes to voting at the poll

and in office.

Good article!
