Well the panic buying is happening again...

Why does anyone think folks are going to stop panic buying when they know Obama and the anti-2A's are still making threats and confirming they're going to get their gun control agenda done!

Jay Carney says white house gun control will pass round 2:

Harry Reid voted "NO" on S.649 to be able to bring the bill back up later:

Reid introduces background checks for ammo & powder:

So I don't see the panic buying and hoarding of ammo and reloading components subsiding anytime soon because the threats on 2A rights keep coming from our Reps in Washington.

I suppose the "panic buying" is understandable but I wonder; is anyone here panicked???

I don't feel panicked...should I???

Knowing exactly what Obama wanted I was concerned after he won re-election. I was really concerned after Sandy Hook as I had no doubt that he would use it to push his agenda. Even so, I didn't panic...not sure why...perhaps because while there are thinks I want to buy I didn't feel as if I HAD to go out and buy it RIGHT NOW!

Now that his agenda had such a difficult time in the senate and given that any bill would have even less chance in the house i see even less reason to be in panic mode.

Now...if six months or a year from now I still can't find, in bulk, the ammo I want or a firearm I really want to have or the magazines I want then maybe I'll start to panic bur for now...I'm not going to worry about it. Edited by RobertNashville

AimHi Update on Guns and Ammo April 23, 2013

Hello all,

This has been quite a first quarter for us here at AimHi. There has been so much happening in the firearms world, we thought it might be a good idea to let you know what is happening with the gun and ammo situation as it affects all of us in central Ohio.

Guns that have been hard to get for the last four months are finally starting to arrive. We have filled almost all of our backorders, but some of you are still waiting on Kimber and Ruger orders. We hope to see more Rugers and Kimbers arrive before long, but Ruger is so swamped they have stopped taking new orders. Ruger currently says it is almost a year behind on orders for some of their guns.

Ammunition is still critical. We have stocked enough for all of our classes but retail sales ammo is trickling slower than firearms. No one seems to know where all the ammo is going, but in speaking to other retailers, they are not getting much ammo either. We do know that large orders from the government must be filled, by law, first before we receive our orders. Is that the problem? We don't know.

What we can say is we are doing our best to get ammo out for your use. Unlike many other retailers we are not doubling our prices and gouging buyers because of the shortage. Instead of doubling the price we have opted to limit the number of boxes individuals may purchase. As ammo becomes more available we will reduce or eliminate these limits.

For those of you who are interested in our Annual Memorial Day Range Gun Sale we do not have good news. Most of our range guns are not being replaced by the manufacturers until they have caught up on their back orders. Without new range guns we cannot sell the old ones. When we start getting in the range guns we will find a time for a range gun sale and let you know through a newsletter and on the website.

We have not given up on a Memorial Day Sale however. There are other products we hope to be able to put out for the sale if the inventory becomes available....

Not just guns.

I ordered a bunch of 10/22 parts, just for SHTF backup really, back in mid Jan, just arrived day before yesterday. As always a class act, they didn't charge my cc till they shipped, so I just let it ride.

Infowars is not a very reliable. unless it's being covered on more mainstream news sites don't trust everything you hear or read on infowars

Okay, feel free to use me as a source. I've been saying it for about a year, now. It is well documented how he

intends to do gun control if he can't get it through Congress. And Like Punisher says about the MSM, do you

really believe much of anything they're saying? That Jones guy may come off as crazy, but the media is doping

you, I or anyone who would dare listen what they have to say.

I'm far from the first to mention the EO. He's already outstripped G.W.Bush in his first four years to all of Bush's

eight.

A source is a source. Jones isn't the only one saying it, just the nuttiest sounding one. :D

There is a difference between someone saying something and someone saying something with actual evidence to back them up...I mean no offense but unless there is some actual citations of real actions being taken; all this is just one step above a rumor.

I'm not saying Obama wouldn't/won't try to do what is being suggested but I don't get excited over rumors and if I did, what exactly can be done about it?

Ok, how about this then:

Or you can download the .pdf here.

Face it, Obama didn't get what he wanted out of Congress so in true Dictator fashion he's going to just sign it into law by E.O.
Can we PLEASE Impeach this guy now?

What is there to "face"?

What are you trying to convince people of that you think they don't know?

The executive order referenced was signed over a month ago and BEFORE the vote in the Senate so it's already in force...has anything changed yet? If they do change what are are we supposed to do?

I've had no doubt and I have no doubt that Obama will try just about anything to get his way just like any other child throwing a tantrum...is that news to anyone? What exactly do you want me to do about it?....what are YOU going to do about it?

People got what they voted or (or in some cases, didn't vote)...I hope all those "firearm enthusiasts" who thought Romney wasn't "X" enough for them are happy.

Panic buying will end January 21 2017

Only if we get a true constitutionalist conservative or libertarian in.

If we get another progressive republican like McCain, Romney, etc., or a left-wing socialist democrat (or darn near any Dem since they're all patently anti-2A), we'll be floating the same boat that we are now.

So if we can't get an appropriate constitutionalists or libertarian nominated, what then? Should we all vote for whoever the Democrats put up or just not vote?

As un-conservative/libertarian as McCain or Romney might have been is having Obama in office really better for the country?

Seriously...I understand both the desire and the need for a true conservative who actually follows the constitution but if that's not what we have for a choice what are we supposed to do then???

Fact is, Republicans are too busy eating their own young to win any national elections. Get ready for president Hildebeast. That should generate some high quality whining.

It might well be that our only real hope is a complete economic collapse happening before the next presidential election; that might give the country a chance to start over..maybe even stop using worthless currency that can be printed with nothing to back it.

Of course, I don't think it will happen early enough but I'm pretty sure it's coming.

You're barking at the wrong guy. I did not vote for Obama in any election. I was forced to vote for McCain and Romney to try and get a Progressive Lite Politician in the Whitehouse. I did, however, vote for Ron Paul in the primary.

But what I said still holds true. Even if you vote for another Progressive RINO Republican, is he going to protect your 2A rights more than Obama? McCain voted anti-2A in the Senate, Romney had an AWB in his own state. How much easier would it have been to sway the Republican Senators to vote Aye on the new AWB if they had a Republican president pushing for an AWB? IMHO, I think if we had McCain or Romney as president, we'd had some form of an AWB passed now since it would've had more republican support as they'd had an excuse by backing their progressive rino president.

Don't count out the war on guns. I have a hard time believing it's helping the Dems. Obamacare is gonna hurt them too. And, the economy is gonna continue to lay there like a dead fish. In another 3 years, there's gonna be an even bigger contrast between the promises and the reality.

Not saying it will make a big enough difference, especially as self destructive as the Repubs are. Just saying it will be a different ballgame that's not all bad.

There are too many indoctrinated, propagandized and low information sheep nowadays. We still have about a bit more than 1/2 of US citizens that approve of Obama and the job he's doing. :surrender:He did win reelection. heh   :ugh:

Obamacare has a very real chance of backfiring on them, IMO. There was some mention on the news today about the House trying to exempt themselves and their workers from it. When this mess is fully implemented, I think it's going to crush parts of the economy and change a lot of political minds.
