AT&T TECHNICAL/MECHANICAL TEST-FIELD II Test

Anybody here work for AT&T or recently taken this test? I'm about to take it and just wondered if there was anything I could study or if anyone can clue me in as to what's on it.

learn all you can about fiber,then go get a real career w blackbox,or another infra structure company and make bank....just think about cable tv and how to hook it up n ull be safe

Thanks for the info. It's looking like this may not be as good as it sounds. But I've got to find something. I will defintitely keep that advice in mind.

Have you taken the test yet?  I have been with AT&T/Bellsouth for about 15 years now and have taken just about every test they have.  If you still need any info let me know.

Thanks. Yes I did. I qualified on it and pretty quick I got a call wanting me to come for an intrview. So I went to what turned out to be the Premises Tech. Assessment and a Real job preview. I got an email the next day that said I had qualified on the PTA. So I guess i'm wondering what's next? I think a job offer contingent upon passing a drug test and a background check but I'm not sure. And how long is the usual wait? The interview was a week ago thursday.
