I am coming up to sell a couple myself. How bad is the Interstate through Knoxville?.I will be coming up 75.Would it be easier to get off at Pellissippi and cut over to Clinton and take Clinton HWY to the Expo Center or just stay on 75 and take the detour?.

yeah...last time I was through there (couple of weeks ago) 75 didn't have any probs. Only issue was the 40 detour, but that just takes you north like you'd be going anyways.

I read my calendar wrong and thought I was off this weekend and had on planned on driving up, but I will be working.

Good place to eat if you haven't tried it yet is gridiron burger on Clinton hwy. Just got west a mile or two from the expo center and it's on the left just before walmart.

patrol I-640 with unmarked cars

I have never seen these vehicles. :) See lots of marks squads rolling.

There is so freaking much traffic on 640 anymore anyway that it really is silly to speed on it. How much time you saving anyway. Heck at 55 mph it only takes like ten minutes from one end to the other anyhoo

Personally I avoid it like the plague and bad chicken.

I was thinking about going. Are the shows there usually any good? I have heard mixed reviews.

I try to make all the shows in E.Tenn and the Expo seems to be the biggest show around. Considering it has not been one in Knoxville in the pasted two months give or take, it should be pretty good.

I guess ill give it a shot. I finally broke down and ordered a reloading press last night so i need to find some supplies for it. I also found a dollar off coupon RK's website.

The Expo and Meadowview rate about the same but the prices at Meadowview seem to run higher. I hope it is as big as last time there were quite a few new vendors and it was spread well enough to walk and view freely. My posse will be there in the morning( Knock on wood) I hope to trade a Ruger for a little something fresh.

C YU:tough:

Took 9 guns to put out for sale, came home with 16. Nobody buying much, but everyone wanting to sell, must still be scared of the economy.

I figured folks would start buying when they figured out it was looking good for the libs in the election. Hasn't happened yet.
