I've been playing around making BBQ sauce so we had BBQ Chicken sandwiches with coleslaw and nachos with the cheese and lemon cookies. I'm very full and happy.

Tonight it was the country fried chicken breast {HUGE!!!} fries, baked apples, side salad w/ honey mustard and three baskets of biscuits from the Franklin Chop House. One of the best places around. Never over crowded, never loud, ALWAYS good. I was planning on eating the leftovers tomorrow, but that to go box keeps eyeballing me..............

Tonight:

I have a big pot of Navy beans on with a ham bone in them. Later on I'll make corn muffins and a pitcher of tea. Green onions from the garden.

Yum Yum!

just an aside. I was out in the hayfield a while ago with one of the grandkids, just sitting and enjoying the view. I smelled onions. Looked around and there were several wild onions right buy me. Picked one and chewed on it.

What a mouthful of flavor. whoever is in charge of natural growing plants gets a big plus 1 from me.
