voldemort at it again

I could be completely wrong, wouldn't be the first time wont be the last.  My theory seems to pass the common sense test but when has the ATF ever actually made sense.

Common sense told me that an FFL would not be granted to someone that had their carry permit revoked and deemed a potential danger to the community. Obviously I was wrong.

I don't see an indictment or information posted to the court record yet...  while he was arrested for a felony violation, I don't think the DA has done the paperwork yet or sent it to the court.

My understanding is an arrest is different from an indictment (which requires a true bill from a grand jury) or an information (which I'm not sure how much we use in TN).

You can read more about an information here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Information_(formal_criminal_charge)

From Leonards other postings, he's requested a preliminary hearing, where a Judge will determine if there is probable cause to bind the charges over to trial, and I think at that point he'd lose his firearm privileges.  But again I could be wrong.

Then again, I'm betting that the conditions of his bail have restrictions on firearms as well, I've heard that in most cases those restrictions can be very draconian in nature.

Well, admittedly, that's a good point  -- I guess it depends on what they define by "receiving" firearms. Excerpt from:

http://www.atf.gov/firearms/faq/licensing.html#licensing-qualifications

"ATF will approve the application if the applicant:

- Is not prohibited from shipping, transporting, receiving or possessing firearms or ammunition; "

Since he's not a convicted felon, he can ship, transport, and possess them. Just can't buy one, since I guess he is definitely under "indictment or information in any court for a felony". Which I suppose would preclude being transferee from a distributor too, but I dunno.

Then again, who knows who contacts who in these cases, and how long it takes for something to happen.

Maybe more "damages" to sue for if they jerk it.

No, his idiocy predates this administration... he's been at this nonsense for quite a while now.

Not sure when his Costco episode was, but Radnor Lake put him in prominence, and that was in Dec of 2009, during the Obama/Holder reign.

Voldemort might better watch out for women drivers--

http://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2013/08/09/police-aliquippa-woman-thwarts-robbery-by-running-over-suspect/

Police say a Beaver County woman may have thwarted a robbery, by running over a suspect with her car. ... Aliquippa police say a witness saw Cameron White walking down a street carrying what appeared to be a sawed off shotgun. She called police, but noticed that White was heading in the direction of a group of children. Police say she feared White was going to shoot the children, so she ran over him with her car. ... They say White was carrying an airsoft pellet gun which had been sawed off to look like a shotgun, and the orange tip had been taken off. The Beaver County District Attorney says they are not going to charge her with running White over.

  I saw that earlier Lester and though about throwing it up here.

Maybe some concerned citizen will stop his antics one of these days by just hitting the gas.

More likely someone will shoot him.
