Nice story to follow. His damaged wagon came through Nashville on the way back to Mich.

The purpose of Charlie's trip was to visit his father's gravesite for the very first time and to thank every single veteran he could along the way.

Not that it matters to some wiseacres on here, but Charlie is a Vietnam veteran and his father was a WWII veteran.
 

 

A 68-year-old man driving a mule-drawn covered wagon from Michigan to Oklahoma to raise awareness about U.S. military veterans was recovering Thursday in a Fayetteville veterans hospital from injuries he sustained in a highway crash in Ozark, Ark., that killed his animals.
