lol.  No liberals for me today (only my wife, and she ain't a liberal, or she wouldn't be my wife).

 

I primarily visit the forum through the tapatalk2 app on my iPhone.  It's a good way to use it, but you can't choose emoticons like you can when using the desktop version.

I noticed the other day (was using the Mac) that each emoticon has an associated text phrase with colons ie: : wall : (without the spaces) surrounding it.  I was testing to see if I could type that phrase in on the iphone, and the emoticon would come through to you desktop users (it works). 

 

To find the text phrases for each emoticon ... click on the smiley face in the text editor, then click "show all."  A pop-up window will have the emoticons and the text phrases.  Now I can use all the emoticons, and not the standard :) and :(

Yup , can't access them on the iPad either.
