How much brass is too much?

I'm close to 10K in 9mm, 40 S&W and 45 acp and have run out of containers to store it in. I have a feeling that steel will take over so I just keep picking it up. It gives me something to do on the weekends.

Lowe's has 5 gallon buckets for like $3.  You don't have too much.

One of the reloading shops I frequent gives a small credit for spent brass.  Once or twice a year I take down, sorted, of course, calibers I don't load for or simply brass from manufacturers I don't particularly care for.  I usually get something like $30-50, which years ago bought a pound of powder and a few hundred bullets.

Sounds like you might be able to trade for a new 1911.

Yes, I keep a 5 gal bucket in the back of my jeep with one of those Gopher/grapper tools. I store the stuff in the 5 gal red plastic pickle buckets from Firehouse Subs. The 2 bucks a bucket goes to agood cause and the buckets are sturdy

I will start using 89 oz. orange juice jugs with the handle. The store nicely on the top shelf of my loading bench and will hold 100's of pcs. each.
