TGO Lowers - Santa Claus is coming!

Yes I was being serious. The last I heard anything was 3 October. ####.

####? You know that got filtered out, right? :) Don't sweat. I have a spare lower. You just missed out on the cheap price.

Let me clarify. I'll swap my second lower for an unblemished CMT billet lower. I'm not gonna mark it up and sell it.

So when will we be able to purchase them from CMT? I haven't heard anything on them in a long time. Did I miss something?

Man, you were on the list of people who made an account over at CMT and got it converted to the TGO group.  You should have gotten at least one email with instructions from CMT on October 11th -not to mention all the talk in the threads here of ordering being open.

Sorry!

Yep, that was last any of us heard, PM instructions to register with CMT and order, on that date.

There was a thread, too, but it didn't have any additional needed info.

I kinda missed the email (I was looking out for a PM) but fortunately chased it up in time.

Only emails I ever got was when I registered and purchased at CMT, as instructed in MacG's PM with the updated directions.

I do get email notifications of PMs here though, if that's what you mean.

Well... I wasn't going to get excited about this. Now, I have parts piled in my living room floor. They look great!

Yep, my plan was to order a little at a time and spread the cost out over several months. Then, when we actually got the email saying we could order it was like I got buck fever. Now I have everything to build his and hers pistols sitting in my office. Started getting questions about why I had 2 of all these parts laying around so I had to go put it all away.

Out of sight out of mind you know...

Man I hope we get these soon... CCR is having a sale on cera-hide until the end of this month. I would love to save 25%

Got a note from CMT this weekend indicating that the uppers and lowers have shipped out to be coated.  There are a bunch of them, so it'll take a couple of weeks.

I think they're expecting to start shipping them around the 8th of December.

Ordered a complete upper from PSA that should be here tomorrow. Wanted to build one but I don't have the tools. Still looking for a good LPK with a Geiselle trigger. Anxiously waiting...

I haven't seen a kit packaged with a Geissele trigger. I ordered a Spike's kit without the FCG parts, and ordered the trigger separately. Here's one...

Thanks mike I will check that out. Actually looked at the spikes enhanced LPK with the ergo grip from Joebobs. I enjoy doing business with them. Seemed like a decent deal. PSA has some LPK with giesseles but they're not in stock.

G&R Tactical offers lower parts kits w/ various Geiselle triggers as options.  G&R also has various options for Buffer, Buffer Spring, Receiver Extension, Castle Nut, Receiver Plate, Trigger Guard, and Pistol Grip.  I wish they offered ambi safeties as an option.

I've used G&R lower parts kits a few times and the parts have always worked with no fitting, fiddling, etc. that sometimes comes with cheaper lower parts kits.

Even though the lower parts kits are frequently shown on the website as "out of stock", you can email Grant at sales@grtac.com to get the current availability status.

It'd be really nice to see a website do a "build your own" LPK. Haha. Wanting a geiselle as well as a BAD safety lever in a package. I guy can dream.

There is one. It's called Midway USA. You probably won't save any money though. I've built one from scratch, because I always upgrade the fire control, grip, and trigger guard. This time, I bought one of the kits without the trigger parts, and threw the grip and cheesey trigger guard in the box with the rest. One of these days, I'm gonna find a use for all those grips and trigger guards.:)
